The agreement also includes future titles inspired by House of the Dragon, forming part of a long-term roadmap of premium, IP-led releases.

The debut Game of Thrones game is scheduled for release in March, with several additional titles planned to follow. Each game in the series will draw on a wide range of iconic characters, moments and themes from hit shows, as well as the fan-favourite soundtrack from both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.

The first game in the series is built on Blueprint’s most popular money-collecting mechanic, with an array of base-game modifiers. The free spins round will take players on a journey across Westeros in search of big wins, setting the tone perfectly for the games in the series to follow.

The new partnership builds on Blueprint Gaming’s long-standing heritage in developing IP-based slot content. The studio has a proven track record of working with globally recognised brands, demonstrating its ability to respect brand integrity while translating major entertainment properties into engaging and commercially successful slot experiences.

Charlie Jacka, Head of Product at Blueprint Gaming, said:
“Game of Thrones is one of the most significant entertainment brands in the world, and working with an IP of this scale carries a clear responsibility. Our focus has been on creating a game that stays true to the depth and identity of the series, while delivering the engaging gameplay and mechanics operators expect from Blueprint.”

Industry Perspective

Blueprint Gaming’s agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences represents a significant milestone in the ongoing convergence of premium entertainment IP and iGaming content. Game of Thrones remains one of the most valuable entertainment franchises globally, with House of the Dragon demonstrating sustained audience engagement across the HBO franchise.

The multi-title roadmap approach signals confidence from both parties in the long-term commercial potential of the partnership. For Blueprint Gaming, this agreement reinforces its position as a preferred development partner for major IP holders in the slots category. The studio’s established track record in brand-licensed content provides operators with proven performance data when evaluating new releases.

As content differentiation becomes increasingly critical in competitive European markets, licensed IP titles offer operators recognisable brands that can drive player acquisition and engagement. The March 2026 launch will provide early indicators of player reception to the Game of Thrones slot series across regulated jurisdictions.
