Glass, 48, has been promoted from his role as Assistant General Manager, a position he held since March 2025. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Hospitality for more than three years at the off-Strip casino resort. His appointment follows the departure of former General Manager Stephan Thayer in June 2025.

The hospitality executive’s connection to the Palms dates back to its original opening in 2001, when he joined as Revenue, Reservations, and Leisure Sales Manager. Glass brings over 28 years of industry experience, having held senior positions at several prominent Las Vegas properties including Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, The Cosmopolitan, Sahara Las Vegas, Park MGM, and Downtown Grand.
In 2023, Glass received recognition as "Hotelier of the Year" by the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association, highlighting his commitment to hospitality service standards.

As General Manager, Glass will oversee day-to-day operations for both Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place, both owned and operated by the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority, an entity of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation. The California-based tribe acquired the property from Red Rock Resorts in 2021 for $650 million.
Glass began his hospitality career in 1997 as a front desk agent at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino (now Park MGM), where he advanced to hotel operations supervisor before joining the original Palms team. After leaving Palms in 2005, he held executive positions at various Las Vegas properties before returning to the resort in 2021.
Palms Casino Resort represents the only tribal-owned casino property currently operating in Las Vegas, though a second facility is expected when Hard Rock Las Vegas completes construction in 2027.
Glass stated his primary focus will be strengthening the service culture and building upon the talented staff at the property while seeking new ways to enhance the guest experience.
