Yggdrasil has strengthened its presence in the regulated Bulgarian market after taking its product live with leading regional operator bet.bg.
The deal represents another major step forward in Yggdrasil’s European growth strategy, with the operator now bringing over 20 of Yggdrasil’s top-performing core titles, including blockbuster favourites like the renowned Vikings go Berzerk and Valley of the Gods, as well as standout hits such as Raptor DoubleMax, Hades Gigablox, and Golden Fish Tank 2.
Yggdrasil has enjoyed a landmark commercial year in 2025, with the year marking significant expansion in regulated Balkan markets, Brazil, and Spain in particular.
Jose Kadala, Chief Commercial Officer at Yggdrasil, said: “Partnering with bet.bg is a real statement of intent for us as we further boost our footprint in the Balkan region.
“Our titles have already proven to be incredibly popular in the region, and we’re confident that bet.bg customers will love the gaming experiences we will provide for them.”
A spokesperson for bet.bg added: “We are extremely pleased to offer Yggdrasil’s wide-ranging product portfolio to our players as we look to further standout in the market with our extensive casino offering.
“Yggdrasil brings a combination of fan-favourite games and cutting-edge mechanics to our collection, and we can’t wait to grow in tandem with them.”
Industry Perspective
Yggdrasil’s partnership with bet.bg reflects the provider’s focused expansion strategy across Eastern European regulated markets. The Bulgarian market has matured considerably in recent years, with established operators seeking differentiated content to compete in an increasingly crowded landscape.
The selection of titles for the bet.bg launch showcases Yggdrasil’s dual approach to market entry: combining proven legacy titles like Vikings go Berzerk with newer mechanic-driven games such as Raptor DoubleMax and Hades Gigablox. This blend allows operators to appeal to both traditional slot players and those seeking modern gameplay innovations.
The Bulgarian deal forms part of Yggdrasil’s broader Balkan expansion, following similar partnerships across the region. As regulated markets in Southeast Europe continue to develop robust licensing frameworks, established content providers are prioritizing regional operators with strong local market knowledge and player bases. For bet.bg, access to Yggdrasil’s portfolio strengthens its competitive position against international operators entering the Bulgarian market.
