Playnetic, the immersive global B2B iGaming content provider, today announced the appointment of David Mann as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026.

David will spearhead the company’s next phase of expansion. Since its launch in January 2024, Playnetic has achieved remarkable growth, securing licences in Malta, Sweden, Romania, Greece, and Ontario, while partnering with leading global operators and aggregators. The company has launched over 40 innovative new games, alongside a library of more than 100 historical games.

With nearly two decades of experience in the global gaming industry, David brings extensive leadership and commercial expertise, along with a proven track record in building brands and driving sustainable growth. He has held several senior leadership positions at leading iGaming companies, most recently serving as CEO of Swintt.

Dan Phillips, Non-Executive Director at Playnetic, commented: “David’s appointment marks a new chapter for Playnetic. David Mann, Chief Executive Officer of Playnetic, commented: “I’m honoured to join Playnetic at such an exciting and pivotal stage in the company’s journey. The achievements in such a short time are a testament to the vision, talent, and dedication of the team, all key factors in my decision to take on this new challenge. Our studio teams are among the best in the industry, and we have some exciting plans for 2026. Our focus will be on driving the next phase of growth, strengthening existing partnerships, creating new opportunities, and delivering exceptional gaming content to our operator partners and their players worldwide.”

Playnetic will be exhibiting at ICE 2026 in Barcelona in Hall 2 stand number 2R70, where it will showcase eight new gaming titles from its three in-house studios, launched exclusively at the event, alongside a range of activities including daily tournaments with a chance to win a holiday for two. The company boasts a global team of more than 100 employees, firmly establishing itself as one of the industry’s rising stars and a must watch provider in the iGaming space.

Industry Perspective

David Mann’s appointment as CEO of Playnetic reflects the maturation of a content provider that has rapidly established itself across multiple regulated jurisdictions. His transition from Swintt demonstrates the competitive talent market for experienced leadership within the B2B gaming sector, particularly among emerging studios seeking to scale operations.

Playnetic’s trajectory—securing five major market licences and launching over 40 titles within two years—positions the company among the fastest-growing content providers in the current market cycle. Mann’s commercial background will be tested as the company navigates increasingly competitive European regulated markets, where operator content acquisition strategies have become more selective.

The timing of this leadership transition ahead of ICE Barcelona signals Playnetic’s intention to use the industry’s premier event as a platform for announcing its growth strategy under new management. With eight exclusive title launches planned for the show, the company is positioning 2026 as a pivotal year for expanding its operator network and market presence.
