Playson strengthens UK and Ireland foothold with Midnite partnership. Fast-growing challenger brand delivers Playson titles to new audiences via Light & Wonder

Playson, the accomplished digital entertainment supplier, has entered a content partnership with challenger operator Midnite, delivering its award-winning portfolio to mobile-first audiences across the UK and Ireland.

Founded in 2018 as a sports-led platform built for the next generation of players, Midnite has quickly established itself as one of the UK and Ireland’s most exciting operators. Through the collaboration, Midnite has now enhanced its rapidly growing casino offering by launching Playson’s retention-driven portfolio via Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform.

Midnite’s players have initially gained access to a selection of Playson’s top-performing titles, including Coin Strike 2: Hold and Win, 3x Catch and Energy Coins: Hold and Win – games renowned for their engaging features, strong retention and appeal to modern casino audiences. Further releases will be added in the coming months.

The partnership is already live across the UK and Ireland, marking another strategic step for the leading provider as it combines its well-established reputation with the agile approach of a disruptor brand.

Conor Jenner, Sales Manager at Playson, said: “Midnite has built impressive momentum in a highly competitive market, and we’re delighted to deliver our games to its player base across the UK and Ireland.

“By launching via Light & Wonder, we’ve ensured a smooth and efficient integration, bringing some of our most iconic hit titles to a new audience. We’re excited to build on this partnership as Midnite continues to scale.”

Chelsea Pinho, Senior Casino Manager at Midnite, said: “At Midnite, we’re focused on building a casino experience designed for digitally native players – intuitive, mobile-first and genuinely entertaining. Playson’s games align with that philosophy, combining engaging mechanics with strong long-term player appeal.

“We’re pleased to launch Playson’s content quickly and reliably, giving our players access to titles they already know and enjoy.”

Industry Perspective

This partnership reflects the growing importance of aggregation platforms in facilitating rapid content distribution across regulated markets. Light & Wonder’s infrastructure enables smaller challenger operators like Midnite to access premium content libraries without lengthy direct integration processes.

Midnite’s evolution from sports-focused platform to multi-vertical operator mirrors broader market trends in the UK and Ireland, where younger, mobile-first operators are expanding casino offerings to diversify revenue streams. Playson’s Hold and Win series has proven particularly effective with digitally native audiences, making the content alignment strategically sound for both parties.

The deal strengthens Playson’s distribution footprint in the UK market, where the supplier continues to build relationships with both established and emerging operators. For Midnite, adding proven retention-driven content supports its casino growth ambitions in highly competitive jurisdictions where player acquisition costs remain elevated.
