Push Gaming has named Alistair Johnston as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing experience from Games Global, Evolution, and Microgaming to accelerate market expansion.

Push Gaming has appointed Alistair Johnston as Chief Commercial Officer, tasking him with driving commercial expansion across key regulated markets including Italy and Brazil. Johnston joins from Games Global, where he spent four years leading studio go-to-market strategy. He previously held senior commercial roles at Evolution and Microgaming.

The appointment follows Push Gaming’s hire of Chris Arriola as Chief Operating Officer earlier in 2026, continuing a structured buildout of the company’s senior leadership ahead of what CEO James Marshall has described as a landmark year for the business.

Johnston on market priorities and PrizeFlex

Johnston has identified Italy and Brazil as priority expansion targets, alongside scaling the company’s team and deepening its existing distribution partnerships. His remit also covers PrizeFlex, Push Gaming’s proprietary player engagement mechanic, which the company has been positioning as a differentiator in competitive regulated markets. Italy is among the more closely watched regulated markets in European iGaming, with the country having launched a new online gambling licensing regime carrying 52 active permits in late 2025.

I am delighted to join Push Gaming having long admired their pioneering approach to game development. I look forward to delivering world-class experiences to more players by expanding our footprint in key regulated markets like Italy and Brazil, while enhancing their engagement through PrizeFlex. By scaling our team in 2026, we will deepen our existing partnerships and launch a diversified roadmap designed to empower our global customers.

Marshall on the commercial case for Johnston

Push Gaming has been expanding its regulated market presence across Europe. The provider’s partnership with Bally’s Interactive brought its content into Spain in late 2025, part of a broader push into Southern European jurisdictions. Johnston’s background across two of the most distribution-heavy B2B businesses in the sector — Evolution and Games Global — makes the appointment a clear signal of commercial intent.

James Marshall, CEO at Push Gaming, said the hire reflects the scale of the company’s ambitions heading into the rest of 2026. The provider most recently launched The Great Banker in January 2026, adding to a catalogue that includes established titles such as Razor Shark, Wild Swarm, and Jammin’ Jars across more than 20 regulated markets globally.

2026 is set to be a landmark year for Push Gaming, and bringing Alistair on board as Chief Commercial Officer is a statement of intent. His track record speaks for itself — having played a key role in the growth of both Games Global and Evolution, two of the most recognised names in iGaming. With our slate of upcoming releases and the continued momentum behind our player-favourite titles, Alistair’s commercial expertise will be instrumental in taking Push Gaming to the next level.

Push Gaming is an online slots provider focused on player-first bonus mechanics and game mathematics. The company has been in production since 2010 and distributes content across more than 20 regulated global marketplaces.
