The iGaming Europe sat down with Dominic Sawyer, VP of Growth at Tequity, for an exclusive interview on the company’s Originals product what it is, how it works for operators, and where the category is heading next.
Dominic Sawyer joined Tequity in September 2025, bringing more than 20 years of experience across marketing, brand building, and product scaling. He is the founder of iGamingCrypto.io, a media brand covering the intersection of crypto and iGaming, and co-founder of Moonshot, a Web3 gaming platform. At Tequity, his remit covers new sales, account management, and communications for White Label Originals the product at the centre of the company’s commercial push across regulated and emerging markets.
Bringing the Right Background to the Right Moment
The Originals category has moved fast. What began as a niche preference among crypto-native casino brands has become a standard product question for operators across formats and regions. When Tequity set out to accelerate the commercial growth of its Originals portfolio, the hire it made said a lot about where the company believes the demand is coming from. Dominic Sawyer’s background crypto, Web3, content distribution, maps directly onto the audience that has driven the category’s rise.
Q1: Your background is in crypto and Web3, not traditional iGaming. How does that shape the way you think about selling and positioning Originals to operators?

It helps a lot because crypto has always been more product-led and more fast-moving. Spending so much time around crypto iGaming, you see how much players love fast, fun, watchable games, and how important streaming is to distribution. That makes Originals a very easy sell. For one client we recently took on, more than 60% of their volume came from Originals in their first year. I also understand how important branding and community are in a market where many platforms still look similar. Our solution gives operators far more than a colour swap. They can build games that genuinely feel like their own.
Q2: When you joined Tequity in late 2025, what was the state of operator awareness around White Label Originals and where is it now?
Awareness was already strong when I joined, but it has become even stronger over the last six months. If there was any doubt about whether operators need a serious Originals suite, that doubt has been further reduced. What has also become clearer is that operators do not just need Originals; they need a strong solution. On the surface, these games look simple, but making simple games work brilliantly at scale is not simple at all. That is where our years of RGS development really matter alongside our front-end execution.
What Operators Actually Get
Tequity’s White Label Originals suite gives operators a portfolio of instant-win and fast-paced house games that can be fully branded themes, colours, fonts, sounds, RTP settings, and max win configurations adjusted to match any casino identity. Every title is available with both Provably Fair and classic RNG, and the MAXposure system dynamically adjusts bet limits based on individual player strategy.

Promotional tools, including free bets across all titles, are built in from launch. Recent integrations with platforms including SOFTSWISS, Hub88, iGP, St8, and QTech Games have extended the product’s reach into regulated European markets, emerging markets across Africa and Latin America, and crypto-first operator brands.
The Spartans integration completed in a single week — a deployment timeline Tequity has pointed to as a measure of how the product is built. The broader RGS infrastructure that sits underneath Originals is the same platform serving over 20 studios and 500 titles across regulated markets globally.
Q3: What does an operator actually gain that they could not get from standard aggregated content and how do you explain that value proposition quickly to someone who has not seen it before?
Operators get content that feels like their own and gets played like a core part of their lobby, not something buried on a supplier page. These are extremely popular formats, often accounting for a very significant share of volume, but now wrapped in the operator’s own brand. That makes them sticky, visible, and commercially important in a way standard aggregated content often is not.
Q4: MAXposure is one of the more specific technical features in the product. How do operators typically respond to it, and what problem does it solve in practice?
Operators love it because it gives them smarter control over risk. MAXposure lets us set intelligent bet limits based on player behaviour, strategy, and the operator’s own exposure profile. In practice, that means they can offer exciting games with much more confidence, because the limits are not blunt, they are tailored.
Originals by the Numbers
Three figures that define the current scale of Tequity’s Originals portfolio:

18+ — Originals titles currently live or in active release, spanning Crash, Mines, Plinko, Dice, Keno, Blackjack, HiLo, Dragon’s Tower, Cross The Road, Wheel, and the new Crypto Trading Games series including Trader and Coin Flip, with further titles in the pipeline.
1 week — the integration timeline achieved with Spartans, Tequity’s fastest operator deployment to date, enabling a full branded Originals suite to go live ahead of a major creator and streaming traffic push.
350+ — The number of brands currently running Tequity Originals.
The Crypto Trading Games Angle
In January 2026, Tequity launched its Crypto Trading Games vertical a new content category built around real-time cryptocurrency price movements. The first release, Trader, connects live crypto data to in-game outcomes, targeting players with a higher risk appetite and operators looking to differentiate their house games beyond the standard Crash and Mines formats.
Coin Flip followed. More titles in the series are in development. The category has moved from announcement to active operator integrations in under two months, including placement across the QTech Games network, which covers high-growth territories in Africa and Latin America. The Trader launch represented a deliberate product decision not just a content addition, but a new format category designed for a specific audience that existing slot and live casino products do not reach.
Q5: Crypto Trading Games are a distinct format, not just another variant. Who is this product actually built for and how are operators using it in their lobbies?
It is built for crypto-native players and for operators who want something more differentiated than another standard casino format. There is now a growing crossover among casual gaming, crypto trading, and high-volatility entertainment. These players want more agency, more tension, and a stronger connection to the real world than standard RNG offers. Operators are using Trading Games as a new featured category in the lobby, either alongside Originals or as a standalone section, because it offers a product that feels modern, highly streamable, and highly relevant to a crypto-savvy audience.
Q6: Streaming and creator-led distribution have become part of how some operators acquire players. How does that change what operators need from their house games content?
It raises the bar. Creators need games that are easy to follow, visually strong, and engaging to a wide audience. That is why a strong house games suite matters so much. The more quality formats an operator has, the more useful that library becomes for streamers. Branding matters too. If the game is strongly skinned for the operator, every stream reinforces both the brand and the gameplay. The best outcome is strong creator energy paired with house games that look and feel native to the operator.
Where the Category Goes Next
The Originals category has grown fastest in crypto-native and emerging market environments, but regulated European operators are increasingly asking the same product questions. Integration timelines have shortened. Customisation capabilities have expanded.

The format pipeline continues to grow, with titles including Cross The Lake, Craps, TapTrader, Up Down, and Spread listed as upcoming releases on Tequity’s product page. For Dominic Sawyer, the commercial question is not whether Originals belong in a regulated operator’s lobby it is how quickly they get there and what they look like when they do.
Q7: What does the next 12 months look like for Originals in terms of product, markets, and what operators should be thinking about now if they are not already live with the format?
The next 12 months are about rapid expansion across both product and distribution. We’ll keep rolling out new Originals and more Crypto Trading Games, with titles like Cross The Lake, Craps, and TapTrader broadening the portfolio even further. We’ll also build out our promo tooling beyond Free Bets, expanding into areas like network prizes and jackpots.
On the market side, we’re continuing to grow across crypto and sweepstakes, while making further inroads into regulated markets. For operators not already live, the message is straightforward: if you’re in crypto, you should already be looking at this. If you’re in regulated markets, now is the time to move early rather than wait for the category to become standard.
