Digitain has obtained a Gaming-Related Supplier – Manufacturer registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), clearing the company to supply its iGaming products to licensed operators in the province.
The registration covers Digitain’s proprietary content, including its Centrivo iGaming platform, sportsbook, Paydrom payment architecture, and virtual sports solutions. Ontario operators seeking to work with the supplier can now do so within the AGCO’s regulated framework.
Compliance-led expansion
Arshak Muradyan, group chief compliance officer at Digitain, said the Ontario approval reflects the company’s broader approach to market entry.
“Securing authorization in Ontario is an important step for Digitain’s growth. It shows our strong commitment to following regulations, maintaining high compliance standards, and operating with integrity. This achievement supports our goal of building trusted, long-term partnerships and delivering safe, reliable, and fully compliant gaming solutions in regulated markets around the world.”
The Ontario registration follows a sequence of recent regulatory milestones for Digitain. The company received accreditation in Bulgaria earlier this year and has added partnerships with AdmiralBet in Serbia and made its debut in Belgium, reflecting a deliberate push into licensed jurisdictions across Europe and North America.
Ontario’s regulatory framework
Ontario launched its open iGaming market in April 2022, making it the first Canadian province to permit private operators and suppliers to compete alongside the provincial lottery system. The AGCO issues two categories of supplier registration relevant to iGaming: Manufacturer, which covers companies that supply, install, test, or maintain gaming equipment and systems; and Other, which covers equipment servicing and consulting. Digitain’s registration falls under the Manufacturer category, the higher-tier classification for suppliers of core gaming technology.
Ontario’s iGaming market generated C$4bn in revenue in 2025, up 34% year-on-year, making it one of the most active regulated markets in North America. The scale of the market and the AGCO’s structured registration requirements have drawn a growing number of international B2B suppliers seeking access to its operator base.
Alberta is also preparing its own regulated iGaming market for a 2026 launch, a development that regulatory observers across North America are watching as a potential further expansion of the Canadian framework beyond Ontario.
Digitain said its focus on compliance and data protection will continue to underpin its regulated market strategy as it pursues additional jurisdictional approvals.
