Stake has confirmed that global brand ambassador Drake will return to Kick on Saturday 8 August for a livestream carrying more than $1 million in giveaways, with a $50,000 prize to be awarded live on air.
The operator announced the event through its official social media channels. It runs as part of Stake’s anniversary campaign and continues one of the longest-running commercial arrangements between a gambling operator and a mainstream entertainment figure.
According to Stake’s announcement, viewers who tune in will be able to compete for a share of the $1 million pool. One participant will take the $50,000 prize during the broadcast. The stream airs at 9:00 PM ET on Drake’s official Kick channel.
The format Stake has built on Kick
Drake’s Stake-sponsored broadcasts have become recurring fixtures on Kick over the past several years. They combine live casino play, audience interaction and large cash giveaways in a single session.
The streams have developed into entertainment programming built around celebrity conversation, unscripted moments and direct engagement with viewers. Earlier editions handed out cash, luxury prizes and spontaneous rewards during the broadcast rather than through a post-stream draw.
That format is what Stake is repeating on 8 August, this time as one of the headline activations in its anniversary programme.

Stake’s announcement sets out the headline numbers but not the mechanics. It does not specify how the $1 million pool is divided beyond the single $50,000 award, how many winners will be drawn, what viewers must do to enter, or which territories are eligible to take part. No terms were published alongside the social media announcement.
Anniversary campaign and community rewards
The giveaway sits inside a wider set of anniversary promotions Stake has run through the year. The operator has used the campaign to reward its user base through exclusive promotions, competitions and one-off events.
Stake describes the Drake livestream as one of its largest viewer-facing activations to date. The pattern across the campaign has been the same: attach rewards to live entertainment rather than to conventional sportsbook or casino acquisition marketing.
The approach is consistent with how Stake has built its brand elsewhere. The operator’s growth on the product side has been well documented, including its scale-up from 15 games to $4.7 billion in GGR, and the marketing side has followed a similar route through sports and creator partnerships.
A long-running ambassador deal
Drake has been one of Stake’s most visible global ambassadors since joining the brand, appearing across livestreams, sports campaigns and digital content.
The partnership has put live streaming at the centre of Stake’s marketing. The operator has leaned on creator-led content that blends gaming and entertainment for an international audience, and has increasingly favoured formats where viewers can take part in real time rather than watch a promotional clip.
Interactive giveaways give operators a measurable action to track: viewers register, enter and return. Creator-driven broadcasts have taken a larger share of operator marketing budgets on that basis, and Stake has been among the more committed spenders in the category.
Event details
The Stake x Drake livestream is scheduled for Saturday 8 August at 9:00 PM ET on Drake’s official Kick channel. Viewers will compete for more than $1 million in giveaways, with a $50,000 grand prize awarded live during the broadcast.
What happens next
Stake has not said whether further anniversary activations of this size are planned. The operator has had a mixed year in the public record, having also disclosed a live casino fraud ring that led to European arrest warrants, and its marketing spend continues to run alongside that operational picture.
The 8 August stream will draw an audience from both the gaming and entertainment sides of Kick, and its viewership numbers will show whether the format still performs at the scale of earlier editions. Stake has committed another $1 million to finding out.
