ComeOn!, the flagship brand of ComeOn Group, is launching its largest multi-market brand campaign to date, featuring Emmy-winning actor Jeremy Piven across Sweden, Denmark and Ontario ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
A Second Run with Piven
Piven returns following a 2025 campaign that earned a nomination for Sweden’s 100-wattaren award, which recognises marketing effectiveness. The 2026 execution builds on that foundation with a revised creative direction, and early results show it outperforming the previous year’s campaign on short-term sales potential and brand recall across all three markets.
The simultaneous three-market launch is a first for the brand, timed to capture audience attention during the build-up to the World Cup. The campaign centres on Piven’s on-screen energy paired with messaging intended to reinforce ComeOn!’s premium positioning among sports bettors.
Group’s Strategic Context
ComeOn Group has previously drawn regulatory attention in the Netherlands, where the KSA issued an AML compliance notice to the group’s parent company. The new campaign represents a different side of the group’s market activity: sustained investment in brand-building across its regulated sportsbook markets.
Chief Commercial Officer Efi Peleg said:
“Last year, our partnership with Jeremy Piven proved to be a strong creative and commercial success. As we head into the world’s biggest football event, we’re scaling that success across multiple markets with our most ambitious campaign yet. This isn’t just a return — it’s an evolution. We’ve refined the concept, strengthened the creative, and are launching our biggest and most impactful campaign to date.”
World Cup Timing
The campaign debut comes as operators across regulated markets look to capitalise on the 2026 World Cup cycle. ComeOn! operates proprietary sports betting platforms and has positioned entertainment-led creative as a core part of its player acquisition and retention approach. With Sweden, Denmark and Ontario now activated simultaneously, the group is committing to a coordinated spend across three distinct regulatory environments for the first time.
Denmark’s sports betting market has faced significant headwinds ahead of a strict advertising ban, making the timing and scope of the campaign notable in that market specifically. How the creative executes within Denmark’s tightening promotional framework will be a test of the group’s ability to sustain brand investment under regulatory constraint.
The 100-wattaren nomination for last year’s work provides a commercial benchmark. Whether the 2026 campaign translates early KPI improvements into measurable market share gains across all three jurisdictions remains to be seen as the World Cup draw approaches.
