1win Announces Public Sale for $1WIN Token

The Solana-based token has a fixed supply of 1 billion, with buybacks funded by gaming revenue and a 10% burn on platform spending.

1win, a crypto entertainment platform, has announced the sale of $1WIN, its own Solana-based token designed to extend the company’s existing gaming ecosystem with Web3 utility, user rewards, and revenue-linked token mechanics. The token sale starts here on October 15th at 4 pm BST.

The public sale marks the next stage in the rollout of $1WIN, which is being introduced to a platform serving 100 million registered players across international markets. Unlike token projects built around a future product roadmap, 1win’s existing business operates independently of the token and already generates revenue through its gaming and entertainment products.

$1WIN will have a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens, with no additional minting after TGE. The token is being developed for use across 1win products, including gaming, lottery, rewards, and other ecosystem functions.

Two mechanisms will connect the token directly with activity on the existing platform: open-market buybacks funded by gaming revenue and the permanent burning of 10% of $1WIN spent through supported platform products.

Rather than financing buybacks from a finite pool of token reserves, 1win plans to fund regular $1WIN purchases using revenue generated by its existing gaming business. Separately, 10% of $1WIN spent through supported products will be permanently removed from supply through a smart contract.

$1WIN will be issued as a native token on Solana, allowing it to integrate with standard Solana wallets and decentralized exchanges alongside its planned use within the 1win ecosystem. The upcoming public sale will give users their first broader opportunity to access $1WIN ahead of the wider ecosystem rollout.

The token is part of 1win’s broader expansion into Web3, and its structure is designed to make it an extension of an operating business. The platform already supports multi-chain cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals and introduced wallet-based authentication through Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and WalletConnect earlier this year, allowing users to register, sign in, and deposit through a connected crypto wallet.

Industry context

In the European Union, public offers of tokens of this type fall under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, which has applied in full since 30 December 2024. A company offering a crypto-asset other than an asset-referenced token or e-money token to the public in the EU must draw up, notify and publish a crypto-asset white paper, with the required content set out in Article 6 of MiCA.

The white paper has to describe the offeror, the project, the rights and obligations attached to the token, the underlying technology and the risks. Retail buyers who acquire tokens directly from the offeror generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 13.

Token mechanics such as revenue-funded buybacks and supply burns tie the token’s supply to activity on the operator’s own platform. 1win’s markets in Asia, Latin America and Africa sit outside the EU framework, so the rules that apply to the sale depend on each buyer’s jurisdiction.

The iGaming Europe tracks crypto-linked gambling products, stablecoin payments and token launches in its crypto coverage, with 1win’s core markets covered in the LatAm news section.
