Bomhard brings extensive international leadership experience to Flutter, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Imperial Brands. He will step down from his CEO position on September 30, 2025, and from his executive director role on December 31, 2025.
The new appointment represents a significant addition to Flutter’s governance structure, with Bomhard’s career spanning multiple senior executive positions across global consumer brands. His professional background includes leadership roles as CEO of Inchcape, as well as executive positions at Bacardi Limited, Cadbury plc, Unilever Food Solutions Europe, Diageo plc (Burger King), and Procter & Gamble. He currently serves as a non-executive director at Compass Group.

Bryant noted that Bomhard’s appointment aligns with Flutter’s ongoing board renewal process and follows an extensive search to identify the right candidate for the position.
The appointment comes as Flutter continues to strengthen its corporate governance and board composition. Bomhard’s international experience and expertise in consumer brand operations are expected to support Flutter’s strategic objectives across its global markets.
