SBC Summit Rio 2026 opens today at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, running through 5 March with over 15,000 delegates expected across three days of conference sessions, exhibition, and networking. Now in its third year, the event has grown from a 4,000-person debut in 2024 into Brazil’s largest iGaming industry gathering.
Venue and Location
The event takes place at Riocentro Expo Center, located at Av. Salvador Allende, 6555, Rio de Janeiro. The venue spans 70,000 square metres of exhibition space, providing capacity for an exhibitor lineup that has expanded to more than 400 companies this year. The full floor plan and exhibitor list are available on the official SBC Summit Rio exhibitors page.
Key Exhibitors on the Show Floor
The exhibition floor brings together game studios, sportsbook technology providers, payment companies, and data suppliers. Confirmed exhibitors include Evolution, Kambi, BetConstruct, Digitain, Altenar, Amusnet, Blaze, Esportes da Sorte, Novibet, Optimove, Sofascore, and Wazdan, among others. The floor is structured around a Casino and Sports Betting Zone, with dedicated areas for the Affiliate Leaders Summit and Payment Expert Summit alongside the main exhibition hall.
Networking lounges, social bars, and the returning Food Festival are integrated into the show floor layout to keep commercial conversations running between formal meetings.
Conference Programme
Three conference stages run across the three days. The Leadership Stage carries the headline sessions, with a keynote titled “The Making of a Regulated Market” scheduled for 4 March. Daniele Correa Cardoso, Acting Secretary of Prizes and Betting at the Ministry of Finance, and Giovanni Rocco, National Secretary of Sports Betting at the Ministry of Sport, will appear together to outline regulatory developments and policy direction for Brazil’s second year under a formal framework.
Senior officials from CAIXA, the Financial Activities Control Council (COAF), the National Advertising Self-Regulation Council (CONAR), the Brazilian Federal Police, and the Superior Court of Justice are also attending. Industry executives taking the stage include Almir Ribeiro, CEO Brazil at BetMGM; Cassio Filter, Managing Director at KTO; Guilherme Figueiredo, Commercial Director at Kaizen/Betano; Sebastian Salazar, Founder of EstelarBet; and JD Duarte, Chairman of Betcris.
The Tech Innovation Track and the Affiliate Leaders Summit run in parallel, covering compliance implementation, payment infrastructure, affiliate marketing, and operator scaling strategies. Brazil’s regulated market generated approximately $7bn in GGR during its first year, with 25 million active bettors, and the conference agenda is built around what comes next for operators and suppliers already operating in-market.
Evening Programme
VIP Event Pass holders receive access to the Opening Party tonight at Rio Beach Club, a lakeside networking event that begins at 16:00 and doubles as an on-site badge collection point. A further networking party runs on 4 March. The event closes on 5 March with INFINITY Rio, a festival-style finale at Riocentro headlined by Brazilian EDM act Öwnboss and British house DJ Marc Vedo.
Context and Scale
SBC Summit Rio recorded 200% year-on-year attendance growth in 2025, earning the Exhibition Growth of the Year title at the EN Indy Awards 2025. Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, framed the 2026 edition as a shift from market entry to market maturity: “The Brazilian market doesn’t stand still,” he said ahead of the event.
Brazil’s regulatory framework has attracted sustained international interest since Law No. 14,790 came into force. The 2026 edition expands the LatAm regional dimension, with operator and supplier activity across Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia also featuring in the programme. For companies tracking B2B supplier licensing developments, operator authorisations in Brazil have been moving quickly since the regulated framework opened. Separately, tax policy discussions remain a live issue for operators scaling in-market, with the fiscal framework still subject to legislative development.
